Aluminum CNC Machining FAQs
YUANYI can achieve tolerances as tight as ±0.005 mm on selected features, depending on part geometry, dimensions, aluminum alloy, and machining conditions. Our engineers review your drawings to confirm achievable tolerances before production.
Yes. YUANYI has no minimum order quantity (MOQ). We support single prototypes, small batches, and low-volume production, with DFM support to help improve manufacturability and reduce unnecessary machining costs.
Aluminum CNC prototypes typically take 3–5 working days after design approval and order confirmation. Lead times vary depending on part complexity, material availability, quantity, and surface finishing requirements. Shipping time is additional.
Yes. YUANYI uses 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining to manufacture complex aluminum components, including thin-wall housings, deep pockets, and multi-sided features. We evaluate tool access, wall thickness, vibration, and deformation risks to determine a suitable machining approach.
Yes. Anodizing forms an oxide layer that can affect finished dimensions, especially precision bores, threads, and mating surfaces. We recommend specifying the anodizing type, coating thickness, and critical tolerances before machining so appropriate allowances or masking can be planned.
Please provide your 2D or 3D drawings, aluminum grade, required quantity, critical tolerances, and surface finish requirements. You can also include your target delivery date and any inspection or documentation needs. Our team aims to provide a quotation within 24 hours for projects with sufficient information.
