For many of our international customers, the Mid-Autumn Festival may not be very familiar. In China, it is a time associated with family reunion, gratitude, sharing, and spending time with loved ones.
In 2026, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 25. For our team, it is not only a short holiday, but also a good opportunity to thank our employees and appreciate the people we work with.
What Does the Mid-Autumn Festival Mean in China?
The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.
Families often gather for dinner, enjoy the full moon, and share mooncakes. The round moon is commonly seen as a symbol of reunion and togetherness.
For us, it is also a chance to slow down for a moment, spend time with family, and enjoy a short break from a busy work schedule.
How We Celebrate at YuanYi
At YuanYi Precision, we prepare seasonal gifts for our employees before the Mid-Autumn Festival each year.
This year, we prepared mooncakes and pomelos for our team. We hope these small gifts bring a little festive atmosphere to the workplace and can also be shared with family members at home.
Mooncakes are one of the most traditional foods associated with the festival, while pomelos are also commonly enjoyed during the Mid-Autumn season in southern China.
The gifts are simple, but they are our way of saying thank you to the people who contribute to our work every day.
